Samaná Waterfall and Cayo
Enjoy a real adventure through the coastal plain of the eastern Dominican Republic, departing from the different hotel districts in modern and well-appointed coaches. We’ll board the boat at the Las Cañitas pier to go to Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island). Once there, you can enjoy its white sands and crystal-clear waters or simply sunbathe surrounded by its coconut trees. On Cayo Levantado, you’ll enjoy a buffet lunch right in front of the sea. After lunch and some time on the beach, we’ll head to Samaná, where a safari vehicle will be waiting to take us on a tour of the village and continue through the fields until we reach the horse ranch. Once there, you’ll go horse riding for 40 minutes to visit El Limón waterfall. This waterfall is one of the most important waterfalls in the Antilles and the Caribbean at more than 50 meters high, where you can take a refreshing dip and take gorgeous photos. After the time at the waterfall, it’s back to the ranch on horseback. We’ll return to the pier aboard the 4×4 vehicles and we’ll ride the boat back to Las Cañitas. This excursion takes approximately 8 hours and is available every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Pregnant women or persons with reduced mobility are not allowed to join this activity.
