We’ll head towards Teide National Park, climbing through the island’s different rural areas. Passing through the forest mass of the Orotava Valley, we’ll stop for photos at the Margarita de Piedra and the viewpoint. Arrival at Teide National Park. We’ll then visit Montaña Blanca (located 2,373 metres above sea level), Piedra Pómez, La Ruleta, Roques de García, and Llano de Ucanca viewpoint, until we reach Boca Tauce, Chío, and Guía de Isora, with its rugged terrain due to the volcanic activity in the area. We’ll briefly stop at the Pico Viejo viewpoint to enjoy the marvellous views and, weather permitting, we just might catch sight of La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro. Once in the municipality of Guía de Isora, we’ll cross the village of Arguayo, arrive in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, stop at the Cherfe viewpoint, and descend towards the hamlet of Masca (located inside Teno Rural Park), where you’ll have free time. We’ll take the road to El Palmar (Buenavista) until we reach the village and port of Garachico, where we’ll visit the Old Town. We’ll then head towards the municipality of Icod de los Vinos to visit its Drago Milenario, a nearly thousand-year-old dragon tree, and finish our journey back to Puerto de la Cruz, bordering the towns of San Juan de la Rambla and Los Realejos.
