We’ll set off on our excursion through the northern end of Tenerife, passing through different municipalities in the region until we reach the episcopal and university city of La Laguna, declared a World Heritage Site. Here we’ll visit the city’s most important and picturesque landmarks: Plaza del Adelantado, Cristo de La Laguna Church, La Laguna Market, the Old Town, the Bishopric, etc. Afterwards, we’ll go to Monte de Las Mercedes and then descend along the Bailadero road – crossing mountains covered with laurel forests – which leads to the hamlet of Taganana, located inside Anaga Rural Park. Here you’ll have free time. Afterwards, we’ll head to the fishing district of San Andrés, to then cross the motorway and arrive in the centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which is the capital of the island. It’s a cosmopolitan, fascinating and lively city drenched in sunshine. We’ll do a short, panoramic tour of the capital’s most iconic landmarks such as Plaza de España, Plaza de La Candelaria, Calle Castillo, Auditorio de Tenerife, etc. Once the tour is over, we’ll go up the motorway heading north, towards Puerto de la Cruz, ending the excursion.
