Land and Sea – Coast to Coast – Full day
Visiting Lagomar, the Cactus Garden, and La Graciosa. The first stop will be the village of Nazaret where LAGOMAR – the former home of the famous actor Omar Shariff – is found. You’ll visit this museum with its caves. Legend has it that the actor lost the house in a game of cards and never returned to Lanzarote. You’ll head to Guatiza where you’ll visit the Cactus Garden, a magnificent example of an architectural undertaking by César Manrique that seamlessly blends into the landscape. It’s home to more than 7,200 varieties of cactus from all over the globe and an old windmill. Then you’re off to Órzola to board a Biosfera Express ferry that will take you to the neighbouring island of La Graciosa. The 30-minute trip goes by in a flash, but it’s the perfect moment to take in the panoramic views of the northern coast of Lanzarote. Once you get to the island of La Graciosa, you’ll get the chance to go off and do your own thing, such as going for a stroll through the quiet village of Caleta de Sebo to marvel at its unpaved roads, visiting a quintessential street market, hiring bicycles, enjoying its breathtaking beaches, etc.
