To start, the usual route is along the Costa de la Lava (‘Lava Coast’) where you can admire the Janubio Salt Flats and the village of El Golfo with its stunning Charco de los Clicos, a small lagoon with a bright green colour. Timanfaya National Park is next, where you’ll visit Islote de Hilario where geothermal experiments are held, and then you’ll move through the park along the Route of the Volcanoes. We will continue our way north through the wine-growing area of La Geria, to finish the excursion by visiting one of César Manrique’s masterpieces, Los Jameos del Agua.
