Teguise Street Market and César Manrique Foundation – Half day
Visit to the village of Teguise, the island’s old capital, where a bustling street market is held every Sunday. You’ll have free time to browse the street market, stroll through its cobbled streets, and watch the usual performances by folk musical groups in the central square of this village, surrounded by different historic sites such as its church or Palacio Spínola. Next up is a visit to the César Manrique Foundation, which was the former home of the brilliant artist from Lanzarote and now serves as the headquarters for the foundation that bears his name. Inside it is a collection of pictorial and sculptural works by different avant-garde artists.
