Graciosa + Teguise Street Market – Full day
Free time to visit the Teguise street market and subsequent transfer to the island of La Graciosa. After pick-up and once in Teguise, you’ll have free time to enjoy the street market that’s on every Sunday morning. The most important street market in the Canary Islands is held along its streets and squares. You can buy all kinds of handicrafts, ceramics, baskets, leather goods, etc., as well as natural and local products such as cheese and wine. Many artists also sell their colourful works here so it’s definitely an event that you shouldn’t miss!
After visiting the street market, we’ll head to the northern end of the island, Órzola, where you’ll board a ferry. During the 25-minute ride, you’ll get to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the northern coast of Lanzarote. Once on La Graciosa, our tour guide will show you some secrets of Caleta del Sebo such as the old church and the streets of the fishing village. At 2.00 pm, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of cava while lunch is served: salad, paella, fruit, soft drinks, wine, beer, and water. They’re all included!
After lunch, you’ll have 1.5 hours of free time on the island to explore it on your own and enjoy its golden-sand beaches, its quaint houses against the backdrop of ochre-coloured sand and turquoise waters. This island is for special, sensitive travellers who know how to enjoy nature, the silence, beauty, and it goes without saying, sunbathing on its peaceful beaches. La Graciosa is probably one of the few places in Europe where there are still no paved roads. It’s definitely one of the Canary Islands’ best-kept secrets. Return on the ferry departing at 4.30 pm to Órzola, where the coach awaits to take you back to your hotel.
