Los Haitises and Montaña Redonda

Embark on an unforgettable experience through the Eastern-Northeastern region of the Dominican Republic. We begin from your hotel in comfortable buses, traveling along the Coral Highway until we reach Los Haitises National Park, one of the four most important karst parks in the world.

We’ll sail by boat through Caño Hondo, crossing the largest mangrove in the Caribbean, home to rich biodiversity. We’ll visit San Lorenzo Lagoon, a key reserve for the reproduction of fish, birds, and crustaceans. We’ll explore caves with Taíno petroglyphs, inhabited by bats and nocturnal birds, and observe the mogotes scattered along the coast, which serve as a refuge for dozens of bird species.

Afterward, we’ll enjoy lunch at the Eco-Hotel Paraíso Caño Hondo, featuring natural pools fed by crystal-clear river water. To end the day, we’ll ascend by safari truck to Montaña Redonda, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Limón and Redonda lagoons, Samaná Bay, the Eastern Mountain Range, and the Atlantic Ocean.

This excursion lasts approximately 10 hours.
