Island Tour – Full day

Discover one of the most impressive landscapes of the island using a unique combination of coach, boat, tram, and train travel along the Serra de Tramuntana, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2011. This excursion starts by heading towards the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, through forests and along impressive cliffs that reach an altitude of almost 700 m, passing near the island’s highest peak, Puig Major. We’ll then begin a breathtaking descent along the narrow, winding road that leads to La Calobra, a small cove from where a natural tunnel opened in the rock connects with another cove formed by the Torrent de Pareis at its mouth. After some free time and weather permitting, we’ll ride a boat from Sa Calobra to Port de Sóller, where we can admire the cliffs that characterise the northern end of the island. The tram will be waiting for us at the harbour to take us on the 25-minute journey to the town of Sóller, popularly known as the ‘valley of the orange trees’. Once in Sóller, we’ll start the last leg of the excursion, which is the return journey to Palma on the famous Sóller train, a wooden train that dates back to 1912. The 45-minute journey to Palma passes through tunnels, stunning panoramic views, olive and almond groves, etc. At the end of the excursion, the coaches will be waiting at the train station to take you back to your hotel.
